I snagged it.

Been hoping for a sale (or R13), because the current features didn't justify the higher price tag, but I think with the deal there's enough there to justify it.

Really looking forward to playing with the new Combinator, I've been eyeing all the cool stuff you've all been building.

A good deal, but I'm a Reason+ guy. Well 19,90€ every month but all the RS devices come with it so...

It's a superb deal. Why the animosity? I bought it not long after launch, just before the price rise (for about 100 quid, I think - thanks to that 'Forum' code at JRRShop), so I'm not going to begrudge someone getting a bargain now.

I genuinely think we've reached the stage where people will argue about anything for the sake of it.

I upgraded before the price hike and I can say for around $70usd, Mimic and Cmb2 are well worth the upgrade. Or just buy it and hold it till R13 and get that upgrade. I don’t see the problem.

Reason+ is awesome, I am just too narrow minded and stupid to accept not owning the stuffs...

Paid $129 and don’t regret it one bit in light of this new upgrade price. I’d rather use it now that wait for the upgrade sale, like I last did for Reason 8. I’ve since paid full price for the 9.5, 10, and 12 upgrades.

I’m pretty sure I predicted that bumping the price was going to lead to bigger discount “sales” in the future. I don’t recall there being a ton of upgrade deals in the past several year, but that might be due to not looking, as I’d done the initial upgrades as soon as they were available (except for R11).

Well, as long as you can keep paying everything is fine, if not...

Yup, well I know, my latest license is R10. Kinda sucks, but it's too late now. Only way to still get a R11 Suite is probably buying it off from the someone else. Well, it's all good, I don't think 19,90e is too steep.

Probably not enough people fell for the "We raise the price first and than offer a discount above the original price", so they are lowering it even further to get at least some income.

The way the economy is right now for many of use even the $29 plugin is now a luxury. I use to habitually buy a PA plugin almost every month. Since I buy more than I'll ever use it's just easy to avoid DAW stuff.

Does this deal work with those already on an Annual Reason plus subscription? The reason I ask - I'm a Bitwig user and I can upgrade my plan ahead of time, which I really like, because it works with deals and coupons.

I seem to remember the outrage at the price hike was when they said we have never raised our prices when the evidence was that they had done several times over the years especially on upgrades.

When they said they a re doing the pride rise for the first time as they needed to and now we have sales to the old price and flash sales like this is does seem a bit of a stretch.

Does this sale mean that reason 13 is just around the corner?

Given that the current roadmap hasn't been achieved and isn't going to be until December I doubt that R13 is happening any time soon(6-8 months) unless they plan to roll it out in the same state that R12 was....

For those who just bought the upgrade, would the 30 day return period apply?
