Reason 12 takes about 30 minutes to boot up

Using a Mac M1 with the latest Reason 12 update (I updated 2 days ago) and it's taking about 30 minutes to boot up! Been doing this for a while now.

No VST's being used, just Reason's stock instruments.

Any ideas as to the cause of the problem?

I'm on a Mac M1. I'm just going to upgrade just now. I'll let you know how long it takes to load.

EDIT. Downloaded and updated R12 on my MacBook Air M1 8Gb. Took about 5 seconds to load.

Glad it's working for you! Are you using the online log-in or have you gone through the authentication process? I'm still using the online log-in, it's the only thing I can think of that may be the cause... I'll do the authentication thing and see if that fixes the problem.

Reason only took 5 minutes to boot up today, no idea why it was quicker today. I usually leave my Mac on sleep mode so it's not always a problem, but Reason tends to "unexpectedly quit" when I wake my Mac up in the morning so it's becoming quite irritating

I'm getting about 30 seconds before loading on a 2020 iMac. I wonder if there is some initial indexing of the search locations or something like that that is slowing things down? But again, it's just 30 seconds for me.
