Issues on loading Reason 12.2.5 with freeze splash screen for 20 minutes and more ... [Mac Osx]

HI to everyone,

None of you are literally having trouble booting Reason 12?
I am desperate, in the meantime I have opened a support ticket ..
Although today I have totally uninstalled and reinstalled the new version of Reason from scratch 12.2.5 (the update did not work) when starting Reason the system remains stopped at the splash screen (the red square with the logo) and remains there for over 20 minutes , So I have to force exit the process 'cause the program was not responding.
I have tried several system reboot and uninstalls/reinstallas of Reason 12 but.... nothing to do.
I have never had a single problem with Reason in 22 years with multiple Pc and lately on 3 Apple computers!
The crazy thing is that I still kept version 11 in the same machine which works FABLY with any interrupts to my workflow. So I'm forced to Reason 11 which works wonderfully and without even a lag.
I encounter these problems with my Imac 2016 (I still have High Sierra) I have never been able to use Reason 12 again except the first versions, however they were very slow. Is any of you experiencing a similar problem?

Update to Catalina.
They (props) recommended it and it solved quite a few problems that were making R12 unusable. I was about to get a refund in fact.

Interesting that they've recommended to upgrade but their minimum specs for Reason 12 state macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) or later (64-bit).

They should probably update the minimum software requirements to macOS 10.15 if the older OS versions don't work properly with R12.

It's very much too late for that now isn't it. Many people will have bought it based on their notice of this upon release of 12

I think it works for some but not others. Also there seems to have been most problems with Mojave, which is what I was one. Catalina fixed it all. Couldn’t even open the app.

Thanks everyone for the kind replies. Now support has offered me something with a log to send to them. But I don't know how it will solve the problem ...
My hesitation to obsessively update the operating system is in that I have created that balance between the various programs and the vst's (many of which may potentially not work with catalina).
I think I will move to a new system which maybe I do first

Did you do a clean install from scratch? .. or did you reinstall above and still found all your programs etc?
(I also have the Adobe suite and hundreds of VST plugins).

I just did a TM backup and updated. Smooth update. Zero residuals. In fact I think it sorted out this other weird file corruption problem I had (long story).
I can't speak for your hundreds of VST's as I tend to keep my VST collection pretty tight and minimal for exactly this reason. But I can say iZotope, Fab Filter, Oeksound had no problems at all.

I'm going on my yearly creative cruise tomorrow, will be composing on a ferry Thursday&Friday with my Macbook.
My Windows R12 works fine, but I'm on Reason 10 on my High Sierra Macbook, wondering if I dare update to R12 or should stay on R10.
I guess, updating in the last minute, what could go wrong!?

Does anyone still have problems with R12+High Sierra, or is everything good after the R12 patches released since this thread was created?
