It's only an upgrade from intro or lite, so this isn't for anyone who's ever bit the bullet on buying a full licence.
Coming from 11 Suite It's a bit of a shame that I've got a couple of players missing but it's not the end of the world for me.
The bright side is that it should increase the number of committed users and sway the numbers further away from the number of Reason+ users, may god have mercy on their souls.

I received it as an email yesterday at 12:01pm (eastern time). Maybe you need to be subscribed for promo offers to get it. I've been getting them for years. The email came with a promo code. I don't know if it's a generic code or account specific.

I can only reiterate what other are saying - once again loyal, early adopters get royaly screwed. Never again, Reason Studios, never again!

It seems their business model is making more enemies than friends. They want everyone on the sub model. Anyone who would take this deal and doesn't become part of their sub model will eventually become another enemy.

It is a good deal though.

Unfortunately people who use other DAWs that like to mess around with this one will walk away. I very good at wasting money on DAW upgrades that I don't use. Now that the bumped up their upgrade pricing the decision to not give them anymore money has gotten easier. IK is another one that seems to punish loyalty. They seem to come up with ways to bring people back only to make people angry again.

Good, than I'll do the upgrade. I have R12+ at the moment(until april), I have no interest in these soundpacks etc., besides the new players and the last 2 new instruments I have purchased every RE from RS, got R11Suite too ... so, for me it seems a good deal. Update on 12, 3 new players (roundabout 400.-€ ) for 50% off and get the offline functionality back (wich is very important for me).
Additionally I have so many reward points that I could purchase the new instuments too...
