"This account has been blocked." Why would Reason Studios block account?

So, I've had this pop up on a few occasions over the past year or so.
The first time was total panic mode, like, wtf happened here? Why is my account blocked? :o

But after a moment I was logged in.
It's maybe because my internet can be spotty at times, and maybe it's stuck on a download sequence.
But why would Reason Studios need this in the login, and why would they block an account anyways?

Real scary stuff. This should not be on the login page, only on a separate one, when the account is actually blocked.

I had this too in the past when the login failed. The login process was kinda wonky and i couldnt get through it. Didnt happened since half a year or so. I was shocked the first time too, but today i know, its just another bug...

I too had a panic attack when I first saw this. Haven't seen it recently though.

But why would Reason Studios need this in the login?

Maybe it's a way to remind you to think twice before using Reason on a live tour too far away from "civilization", or beta testing your account with some type of NFT based social credit score on the RS blockchain?

I am joking, of course. All is good :D

Have you been trying to login too many times? Seems like a protection against DOS attacks.

The first time that it happened to me („this account has been blocked“).
Short time later I was able to login again, but now I can‘t purchase anymore.
All seems fine, but it’s not possible to confirm the payment…?!
