Yeah I think so, I don't remember seeing any Combinators in them, so should be good to go in R11Billy+ wrote: ↑19 Jan 2022Thanks Jamesjamespember wrote: ↑19 Jan 2022

(Don't suppose that the content is R11 compatible?)
Actually it's not compatible because the file format is Reason 12 – also the songs use Mimic a few times.jamespember wrote: ↑19 Jan 2022Yeah I think so, I don't remember seeing any Combinators in them, so should be good to go in R11
Ryan you're a star............ryanharlin wrote: ↑19 Jan 2022Actually it's not compatible because the file format is Reason 12 – also the songs use Mimic a few times.jamespember wrote: ↑19 Jan 2022

But you're in luck, Billy!

Based on this request I just created Reason 11 song files where I migrated the stems over to Reason 11 and recreated the Bassline Generator midi and pattern automation. I also replaced the Reason Electric Bass patches with the nearest Factory Sound bank stuff I could find. The result is a set of Reason 11 versions of the challenge if you or anyone else wants to get in on the action. You can download it here for now. If James finds it appealing for a wider audience maybe we'll update the official download but I'm guessing this might be a ReasonTalk exclusive package. Share your results, though! Make all my migration work worth it!!
Oh well in that case, here's the Reason Electric Bass patches to swap out if you want to be closer to the video. Though, in Round 3 you'd want to bypass the Quartet chorus I added because that's handled by the bass patch now.

But this time, the bass players should each play a funky bass line of their own, and have Ryan try to replicate them with Bassline Generator!
Just for you, AnotherMathias.AnotherMathias wrote: ↑20 Jan 2022Now, let’s have a rematch.

+ 1 I am sure I could without Bassline Generator make something complicated that is hard to play on a real bass. But I am 100% sure some bass player could make something not very complicated that Ryan could not make with Bassline Generator. If one of those patches were deleted could he make them again?AnotherMathias wrote: ↑20 Jan 2022Now, let’s have a rematch.
