[solved] Did 12 kill the display of knob values?

Maybe I'm a bit late on this, and maybe it's been asked before (I couldn't find a topic on it) - did R12 really kill the display of numeral values when adjusting knobs, sliders etc.?

If so - why? And will it be fixed (as no-one really could try to sell it as a feature... not even Sony... )

There’s a check box in settings for those. Maybe you Clicked it by mistake?

For ear training it would probably be better to focus more on listening instead of looking at numbers.. so more the less closer to controlling it like analog gear
But over here it is also never off...maybe i should
