Thanks for the hint, just bought the Reason 12 update in the JJR shop. The code reduced the price from 129 usd to 115 usd. After the currency conversion to Euro I had to pay only 100 EUR!
And this in times of all the upgrade price complaints
After this I‘ll be happy to pay 199 EUR the next time for Reason 13 and hope they will implement some sequencer improvements.

After thinking about it, I was planning on poss upgrade once they sort out whatever is going on with the initial release anyway. For £83? Why not. Support the mission. Fingers crossed for R13 and so forth. Same old song.

But I think I might hold out for the first bug fix at least. It's gotta be coming pretty soon I'd guess. Less Downloading. Less risk of bug infection in the middle of a project.

I did the upgrade through Thomann.de and they take of the vat because of where I live so I got it for €100 too but I will not be asked to pay the vat in my country because it's digital purchase.

I just entered an american address from a relative and paid with paypal. No one asked for anything.
