Voted, although my full version would be "When it is on sale and they have squashed the main bugs and perhaps when they have added something else like VST3 or maybe just when it is on sale and I am feeling drunk or reckless or when I click the wrong button."

You forgot about fully implemented vst2.4 midi pass through/routing is on the todo list but still hasn't been done

Non of the options fit me.
The choice of new features are fine for me personally. That's not my issue.

I will probably upgrade once I know that the people who have upgraded aren't experiencing any slowdown in workflow, longer loading times, performance issues or other annoying bugs.
I want to make sure all the potential problems are sorted out before I upgrade.
Not gonna be a R12 guinea pig. I tried that when R11 Suite was released. Let's just say I'm never doing that again. Horrendous experience, before they sorted it out.

Me too. No point in upgrading while I have access to R+.
Don't hold your breath for a sale before then though, that would make absolutely no business sense for RS.

Ive saved my 7 day Reason + trial to take R12 for a spin before committing to upgrading. A lot of performance issues have me holding back. Also I dont like how the HD zoom affects the whole thing when its the rack that neede it the most. Hopefully they change that.

Wish there was a 'not sure yet' option because it is the first day of release and I'd like to see how the version evolves once bugs are ironed out and people have explored the new features fully in a month or two.

In theory once VST3 is available. For a while it’s the one thing I’ve wanted the most from Reason. Though, in practice the decision to upgrade depends on a few conditions, such as Propellerheads having sorted out the worst of launch issues in version 12. The final version of Reason 11 is delightfully stable.
