I do a song in R11 and save it. It saves as an R10 icon. If I click on the song to open it then it opens in R10. Even when I right click on the song and choose "open with" and then select R11 it still opens R10. I know I can uninstall R10 and it'll probably fix it. Just wondering why.

Similar problem? When i download a sound pack and click on the open in reason dialogue box that pops up it always opens it up in reason 10. I don't work with 10 anymore since i updated to 11 suite. What's up with that?

Yea i just tried to open a song that i was working on and saved in version 11 by right clicking on it and choose " open with" and it defaults to r10 as well. And since you mentioned it all my songs are saved with the r10 icon. Must have something to do with windows associations.

What you can open R11 project files in 10, are you sure that the file is R11 saved project file...

I guess it depends on order of installation.
Reassocate the files manually or just reinstall R11.
