Question on sending midi to players

Is it possible to use midi ive already played and send that midi info into the players to pick up when i hit record on the player?

They will pick up any midi on that channel whether played or already recorded. That's why when you send to track they bypass in order to not effect the resulting midi.

Oh, like midi capture on live? That would be nice to have.

I thought there's a few that can do limited recording, PolyStep Sequencer, for instance. Don't know much about player REs though.

It sounds like you might want to use Direct Record in the Player. Direct Record records the total note output of the Player into the track instead of just the notes you've actually played on the keyboard.

And if you're looking for a Player that can record just like a sequencer track, Sequences is a good one.
