For me to buy something at this point it either has to offer something new and unique or it has to be really awesome at what it does.

Hey guys ! we possibly have " May Madness " ahead of us in a few days ... Im making this for everyone who is interested to talk about anything related to it , what you would like to see on sale , are you even going to check the sales and buy anything ? and anything else related and eventually when it begins we gonna see whats there to choose and discuss em together ... last year I bought a lotta great REs from different creators I may list em below ... Im trying to set some money aside to buy some ... I hope I'll see some like minded people like myself who still care about the Shop , Rack Extensions , and the echosystem or at least Reason itself ... also we have Reason 12 coming in the future too things getting pretty exciting

huh funny i'd forgotten about R12, a month or two ago i was totally ready for that hype train but i don't know anymore. we'll see i guess

theres usually a bit of a rush by re devs to get some new devices on the store before the sale because of the higher traffic but i havent been seeing much of that this year.
i wouldn't mind picking up Obsession at a hot discount or maybe something unexpected and i'm always interested in new sequencers and utilities so i'll be checking it out like i do everytime

It does seem that there is less of a buzz about MM and R12 this year. Maybe the subscription model has changed the dynamic. Maybe it's lockdown blues. Maybe I'm imagining it!

Question is if R12 will be launched before Midsummer vacations or else it will be released in September/October.
If before summer vacations, it will be somewhere after May Madness.

Personally I am a bit confused with the options ahead, subscription or buying upgrade later and some RE from RS on sales. The money for 1 year sub compared to the upgrade perpetual and say Friktion RE. How long period will perpetual license bring free updates until next payed version etc. Depends on so many factors what is a good way. It becomes a jeopardy choice.

ayyy I made a topic about May Madness 2021 too ! not sure if it wasnt made successfully or moderators deleted it because of this one ! but Im hype for it because Im always down for some dope REs on in the shop Specially while they are on sale , and unlike many of you I m not that old of a user so I dont have tons of RE I do have 11 Suite and lots of other REs that I bought in the last MM and other Sales ... so yeah Im hyped about it , also R12 could be around the corner so theres even more excitment .
I was trying to start a discussion on what REs is gonna be on sale and which ones do we want the most , I mostly try to buy players and utilities because I have lots of synths REs tha I havent mastered or played enough , same thing with Effects + lots of vsts ... I was wondering if Cv Tool Bundle from Tonic Mint would be on an extra sale or not but maybe its too gritty of mine ) anyways ... to all developers cant wait to see what yall gonna do in MM . Peace

Reason in Renoise is what I'm all about, the perfect combination for the way I like to work. After sequencing in Renoise, using Reason as a sound source, bounce down into Reason, adding in vocals/guitar if required, then keeping it there for Mixing/Mastering. Reason definitely isn't the quickest DAW for mixing or the easiest to organize, but I like working using the SSL, it takes a bit longer, but I get better results personally.

Before the new management it was often 50% off Propellerheads REs. Since the new management took over the discounts are more often than not only 30%. Obviously the other devs choose for themselves how to price their own REs.
