I think he meant if all the standard- and third-party REs will be HD-updated. Without knowing the exact details I would expect yes, otherwise there isn't all that much that is HD-updated. I think I remember that RE UI graphics are provided as textured 3D mesh data and are pre-rendered on RS server side after RE submission so they have the capability to HD all the stuff.

I haven't tested the beta. It would be interesting to know if the UI can be upscaled, like 200% or 400% the size of it's current resolution. Anyone can give an info on that?

ah yeah, that’s what I was trying to say when I said UI—should’ve specified I meant the device, since UI is such a broad term.

I'm not hoping for added functionality. Just being able to use it on my 4K monitor would be awesome. It's a finicky business as is.

He mentions scratches. Wouldn't it be good if they included a button on all the devices (I know gimmicky) that switched the gui (still in hi-res 4k) to a worn out or maybe call it "vintage" mode and some of the parameters (maybe random parameters and random amounts of between 2 and 5) were slightly wonky and the device had scratches or wear and tear on it. Maybe sopme lights flickered.

Do you mean the graphics testing or the beta for the version in which the graphics update will be included? Because graphics testing is technically in alpha now and beta for R12 hasn't begun or even been announced yet. Seeing as the graphics update will be a part of 12, there's no clear guess at this time when it will all be wrapped.

Gotcha. Yeah all we know is that it is still early testing and considered alpha at this point.

I think they said that R12 will be "this year" and I guess it needs to be comfortably far from May Madness and Black Friday (but hopefully not comfortably numb).

I am hoping they will allow to put rack on side for super ultra wide monitor using some keybinding. It is possible with OS native windows but native support would be great.

Mine's doing the same now when I try to do internet verification, I get that message in error. I found a workaround; I've had to authorize my computer. I didn't even waste my time logging a support ticket - they never reply!

I don't think there'll be any further updates to v11. Or if there are, the app will only update if you're logged in with a Reason+ subscription - and potentially the features themselves will only show up when logging in with a Reason+ subscription.

I think they're going to start clearly eroding the value of the perpetual license now. It's business.
