I’m a bit of a noob when it comes to the details of computer updates. I have Reason 5 on my old computer and would like to update to Reason 11 on my new computer with Windows 10.

I think my main question is how I get Orkester, Reason Factory Sound Bank, Reason Drum Kits, and Refills on there with the new Reason 11 Upgrade. To top it off, all of those add ons came from Reason 3.0 and stayed on my old computer when I updated to 5.0.

How do I exactly do this on the new computer with Windows 10? Do I load on Reason 3.0 (will that even work?) with all the add ons, put my upgrade to 5.0 disk in, then pay for and download Reason 11?

I’m so confused! Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated, Michael

I assumed you have an account at ReasonStudios that you can sign into and your rack extensions are listed?

If you're buying an upgrade then sign it and get the upgrade,
make sure you old machine is not using your license
if it is you will need to deauthorise it.

On your new machine download the 11 installer and once installation is completed either login using your account details during Reason launch or using a browser authorise your machine.

However you could just download 11 and trial Reasonplus for a month if you wanted as there should be a major release anytime after may.. but this is not confirmed

Hi, just login to the site with your account.
Buy and pay for the upgrade, after that you will find the installer for Reason 11 in your account on the site.

Download the installer and install Reason 11, the Factory soundbanks and Orkester are included.
After installing on your new computer, login to the site again, and go to your account where it says: my products.
Click syns ALL, which should initiate the download of all included rack extensions.

It's a little bit like this, i might have missed a step somewhere, or not.
