Can you guys confirm?
I have to select them in the editor window with the selection tool in order to be able to move them with keyboard shortcuts.

That's new in R11 btw, that didn't happen in R10.

Another thing that both versions have in common is that when you duplicate a set of notes, then move them backwards in time until they align with the original source, the duplicated ones straight up disappear lol.

You need to report it directly to RS Bug Central. They have a proper procedure for such things. I don't know the details but most bugs end up on the write-only list.

if they don't immediately close the support ticket, it's already an improvement. and who knows, maybe it's the tipping point that will make users upgrade to R+?

sarcasm aside, if anyone could confirm this unwanted behavior, that'd be great and I'll submit a bug report to RS.

How can you select a note with double-click if it creates/deletes it?

I just checked, a newly created note is moved alright with Ctrl-arrows.

Seems like I was unclear, sorry; you literally double click on, say, C3 in the vertical keyboard to select all notes that are C3. Then you try and move them with Ctrl+Arrow

Aah, I forgot about that way of selecting. The problem is that the event area of the editor gets out of focus. I just found a workaround - after selecting notes by double clicking on a piano key, Ctrl-click somewhere in the empty area of the clip and the shortcuts will be working again.

Bug confirmed, fyi. Let's see when and if it gets fixed, and if they care that it was introduced with R11 when R12 is on the horizon...

This works for me on Mac, I guess it's a platform-dependent thing?

That might be the case. In general I found that the window focus is handled quite poorly compared to R10. From the top of my head, when you change a knob in the Rack, the editor window loses focus as well even though the notes still show as selected. I hope they will look beyond the actual bug report about what is going on in R11.
