Bought:
1. Thorn for $29 with the PA deal. Had Thorn Beat so full version was a no brainer.
2. Regroover Essential $9. Just couldn’t pass up that price.
Looking at:
1. Dune 3
2. Rapid
3. RC-20
4. Inflator
5. Studio One 5
6. Smart Comp
7. Synthmaster Bundle
8. Eventide H9 upgrade (can get it for $49)
9. Lectric Panda Evolution (UPDATE: Bought)
10. Friktion
11. T-Racks 5 upgrade (got jam points to spend)
12. Halftime
13. Playground Sessions Lifetime Membership (def buy)
Yes I know I’m completely gassed up but I won’t be buying everything. Only spent $40 so far and I’m trying to avoid my wallet atm. Damn you BF 🤬

And I'm done.
Turn2On: Drop 'n' Lift
ReTouch Control: Grid64g
Psychedelic Haas: Sample Slice Unit
Total $49 spent, I think I got off lightly hah.

Can recommend Evolution, Halftime and RC20, Only just got RC20 but it sounds so good on a bus with very gentle settings, really dulls & smooths the top end in a nice way and I've been on a mission to create less harsh and warmer mixes this year.Chi-Individual wrote: ↑26 Nov 2020Bought:

Halftime I've used a lot, great on a drum loop (or any part) with the filter set to just effect a particular frequency that sounds good to you. Instantly thickens the sound and gives it a vibe.
Evolution is a great idea generator and I started and finished a number of tracks after getting it this year. I think it also looks good in the rack as that developer's stuff often does!

So far I've ended up paying my "Annual Output Upgrade Tax"(tm) to grab Thermal and a couple of expansions for £69. Also grabbed ANIMATE as a PiB freebie along with another plug-in I grabbed using my PiB fun-money. And that's it.
I've decided to only pick up synths that offer something new, and I already grabbed Generate earlier in the year (plus it's not on sale anyway). Was really tempted by either XO or Atlas, but after demoing both I thought to myself "is this really speeding up my workflow when it comes to finding drums?" and the answer was "no", so I managed to demo my way out of another BF purchase. Not to say they're not both great plug-ins, just not for me.
Was tempted by Obsession (it does sound great) and I'll probably get it at some point but, again, I'm good for VA softsynths.
Who knows, maybe I'll just put my money towards eventually picking up a Polyend Tracker or something.
edit: wait, I tell a lie, I picked up a 2tb SSD for £155 because storage was getting a little tight. Hardly the sexiest BF purchase but should be super useful.

I already got Sequences so this statement got me interested.
You mean you record something from Evolution into Sequences and then edit as like?

I didn't think I was gonna buy anything, well that failed.
Got the Synth Bundle 2 from Noise Engineering and Omega DEQ. And the freebie Omega Mastering Clipper.
Just felt an urge to make some Noise Engineering based music.
€106 in total. That's not too bad, especially since my last RE purchase was 6 months ago.

I haven't tried halftime yet but I've seen enough youtube vids to know I will like it, esp for $12 which I hope to have enough PiB cash and tokens to get it for little to nothing if not free. Evolution is a must buy cause I already know I'm getting a ton of use out of it. And after demoing RC-20 I can see it will be a one stop shop for that type of FX, which I like.Tiny Montgomery wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020

So far I've had very good self restraint but it's fading, esp since PA sent out another discount code. I really do want Rapid and of course Dune just sounds like heaven. This BF has been more painfully tempting than most but I'm putting up a fight. I don't think Thorn will be enough so another synth will probably be bought before it's said and done. I just need to fight buying everything on my list cause for once in my life I can actually afford it all and that's the bad part. Usually BF is easy cause money is light so I just look but don't touch.
Caved and bought Chromaphone 3 (they dropped the price $10 more on JRR so that was the clincher I guess), and although not technically part of BF also AudioThing's Wires. I reckon that's it though ... a new 4K TV is calling to me to get the most out of the Xbox Series X ...

Looks like Friktion is 30% off, which - while not that coveted 50% off you wanted - is still actually pretty decent. Going to bite?
Win 10 | Ableton Live 11 Suite | Reason 12 | i7 3770k @ 3.5 Ghz | 16 GB RAM | RME Babyface Pro | Akai MPC Live 2 & Akai Force | Roland System 8, MX1, TB3 | Dreadbox Typhon | Korg Minilogue XD
This is my first year not buying anything. Just snagging any freebies and trying them out to see if they are worth the space on my hard drive
