Using Reason to remove interference from a recording

Apologies if this isn't in the correct thread – I'm not sure which is the right one for this.

I'd be very grateful for any help with this: I have an interview that I recorded using a telephone adaptor. It's in WAV format. Unfortunately there's deafening interference throughout the thing. What I need is to transcribe the interview into text – I don't need to keep the recording itself, but I do need to be able to hear the interview in order to transcribe it. The interference is a constant white noise tone. Can anyone recommend a good means, in Reason, of reducing the white noise?

Maybe it's purely a matter of EQing as much as possible, ie. reducing the interference frequencies? Or can anyone recommend an equalizer or any plugins that are good for dealing with this problem? Thanks.

[Please disregard above post (I can't delete it) – I found a makeshift workaround using Audacity.]
