I think I knew how to do this before but I didn't write it down. Can I select say 10 samples, for example a full drum kit, and then drag them into NN-XT so that each sample is assigned to it's own note on the keyboard? I've tried a whole load of buttons but can't find the right one. Thanks

You need to drag them, than select them inside NNXT and use the popup menu to spread them...

What I do is drag a bunch of them...right click Automap Zones Chromatically.

Thanks...I can't find the "spread button". Right click on the NN-XT but what's the command called?

Edit: Found it...automap zones chromatically :)
Thanks

You can do this on the NN19 by the way. - which is great for automation or if you have a midi controller (as all the parameters are mappable)
