Can you customize the click sound in Reason? Either that or add compression and EQ to it

No, but you can make your own by putting a redrum in your project and loading the sound you want to be your click into it :)
@pushedbutton on twitter, add me, send me a message, but don't try to sell me stuff cos I'm skint.
Using Reason since version 3 and still never finished a song.

That could work.. probably could make a shortcut key too, like the C default?
I also just found out Robotic Bean made an RE for clicks.
I'm assuming the Reason click doesn't reside somewhere in the application data as a .wav that can be edited / replaced.

you’d have to assign a MIDI control to be your on/off control instead of a key binding, but yes, that should work just fine. :)

maybe, but weirdly, the click is partially why I switched from my old DAW (MOTU Digital Performer)—their click options were so convoluted I had to enlist help from their forum just to set an odd meter eighth note click, and the software pros there (think their version of Selig) weren’t actually able to help me, so I had to just make do.

Reason could stand to make a lot of improvements, but there’s also something to be said for not overcomplicating things.
