How do you fade in/out an audio track in the sequencer?
I am just trying out Reason for the first time with the 11 demo. I am using a rack extension to create some sounds and would like to fade in some of the sounds but I can't figure out how to fade in an audio track. I noticed in some tutorial videos, a fade in and fade out fuction located in the sequencer next to position and length. But when I am using the software those fade in and fade out functions are nowhere to be seen. I'm sure it's obvious to everyone else but I can't see what i am missing.

But a smarter way is to get either of those REs and automate their VCA faders, because this will allow you to still use channel fader for mixing:

it sounds like you’re talking about fading the clip in and out—that info shows up in the toolbar when you select a clip. you can drag the fade handles at the clip level, or use the toolbar to type in/edit values.
it’s always good to trim audio clips and add fades to ensure you don’t get any clicks or pops caused by a clip that starts or ends in the middle of a waveform. I would never reach for a device or automation for that kind of work, because it would be incredibly inefficient for that purpose (but certainly may be the right choice for creative decisions).

You have to select the clip first. Then you will see the parameters in the top bar above the sequencer. To "de-click" set them to between 10 and 20.
If you use the handles on the clip you can drag the fade in/out by hand. Just turn off the Step first (shortcut key "S") if you want to drag without "quantize".
