Brilliant! So does 11.2 keep prompting you to upgrade to 11.3 or have they suppressed that? I keep imagining some poor bugger who unwittingly "upgrades" and can't open his songs anymore.
RRP Lite for FREE on Plugin Boutique
I now have a R11. 3.1 license but would love to be able to do the 11.2 trick above. Do you think I'll be able to install 11.2 with an 11.3 license?
the PB Version is called "Lite" .
( edit again : the "new" version from 11.3 Lite (and up) is usable as a VST, but the versions before (11.2 and down) are not usable as a VST )
(( yeah, is friggin chaos ))
"Intro" is another version.
"Standard" is another version.
"Suite" is like standard, just with a bunch of added Rack Extensions.
(edit: although the install looks a bit different, there is no addition besides the Rack Extensions. )
This is a SmartAss. Really nothing more than that !
I’ve also got Adapted and Essentials.NDKay wrote: ↑03 Jul 2020the PB Version is called "Lite" .

Looking at the manual, it's the same devices but you get the new DAW features like curved automation, crossfades and note muting.
Thanks man. That’s what I suspected. Appreciated.honeyBadger wrote: ↑03 Jul 2020Looking at the manual, it's the same devices but you get the new DAW features like curved automation, crossfades and note muting.

got the plug-in boutique deal but GarageBand freezes on Downloading License Data after I type in my password, so something might be wrong here
As far as I know, GarageBand is not officially supported. At least REs don't work, from what I remember.kuhliloach wrote: ↑03 Jul 2020got the plug-in boutique deal but GarageBand freezes on Downloading License Data after I type in my password, so something might be wrong here

thanks Joey. Very very sad about this. But I am so glad it works in Logic.joeyluck wrote: ↑03 Jul 2020As far as I know, GarageBand is not officially supported. Any chance of explaining this to me so I can understand properly. If I want to have the 11.2 Lite DAW do I need to have the 11.2 Lite installer or can I install the free PB RRP 11.3 and revert back to 11.2? I’m n it really getting how to do this. Thanks.

This is exactly how I did it:
Having both the 11.3.1 and 11.2 installers.
1. Install 11.3.1
2. Then without deleting anything (I didn't need to) Install 11.2 from the 11.2 installer.
Result: You'll have the 11.3 RRP and the 11.2 DAW.
That’s the thing. I don’t have the 11.2 installer. Can I get that from RS when I register 11.3?

It's comical to me as someone who owns these devices for so many years that with R10 installed with the lite plug-in I cannot use basic stock instruments I've already paid for. Laughable. My solution for this rather than downgrade the lite plug-in as discussed here will simply be to not use Europa, Thor, KONG, and whatever else has been carelessly removed. I have enough RE's and sounds I can just stay in the Logic environment be happy without those old instruments.
You're confusing versions here. Reason Lite and the Lite RRP are simply that—the Lite version. What you're saying is the equivalent of upgrading from Reason 10 standard to Reason 11 Lite or Intro and expecting to access all the devices in the Lite or Intro version. It's never worked that way. If you want the full version of the RRP, you get the full version upgrade.kuhliloach wrote: ↑03 Jul 2020It's comical to me as someone who owns these devices for so many years that with R10 installed with the lite plug-in I cannot use basic stock instruments I've already paid for.
