The Shop does not show my purchases
Utilities are now mingled with effects? Is that new or am I just now noticing?
Replace the tutorial tab in Reason, the one all of us keep closed forever, with the Reason store.

Don't have that with REs, but definitely most of my Bandcamp purchases are done on a... toilet
Hi,
I just noticed that the reward section of the shop has disappeared, however in my account I still have my reward points.

Thank you
I did not think about that

This isn't on them. Font loading requires a hit to Google servers, which require DNS resolution, and DNS resolvers are saturated everywhere because of the quarantine, so having a one or two seconds delay isn't surprising in this context. Plot twist: that delay is there even if you use Google's DNS servers (8.8.8.8) instead of your provider's...
Strange how the previous version of the store did not do it and neither have I noticed it on any other websites. I suspect it's more to do with too much CSS or similar inefficiency in the new shop design rather than DNS.WongoTheSane wrote: ↑14 May 2020This isn't on them. I'm also finding it ironic that we're desperate for a scalable UI in Reason but instead we're getting GIANT FONTS in the shop! Maybe they misunderstood the request haha.

I did have that with the previous version this past month, hence my explanation. But you're probably right too, depending on where the call is in the CSS, it can be defered by quite some time. They're probably working on it as we speak though.DaveyG wrote: ↑14 May 2020Strange how the previous version of the store did not do it and neither have I noticed it on any other websites. Yep, same here. The problem is very much at the RS end of things. The seem to have decided to go live with it and then start the testing.

Man! Cannot they work at 3 things at the same time? They have two hands, so they can at least work at 2 things at the same time!

As far as I know the dev can take the decision to not load the text until the required font is loaded or to load a default font first and then correct the font once is loaded. That's something I had to change in one website I worked on as the boss preferred to show the text immediately and then correct the font afterwards rather than not to show the text until the font loaded, which is not longer than a second but what I mean, it is not always a lack of efficiency by the dev but a CEO decision.DaveyG wrote: ↑14 May 2020Strange how the previous version of the store did not do it and neither have I noticed it on any other websites. Anyways, the Reason Studios website has shown quite a few errors recently and I don't want to blame the website devs because it might be also a problem of not testing enough and working under time pressure or a lot of other things that might depend on a different branch of the company that might be the one that is acting in an amateurish manner
For sure they can work on all fronts, and I really wish that they do. But as I have learned in my live, in the end it is also a question where you invest your money. Web developer or software developer? Let us hope they made enough money with reason rack to invest on both ends. Whereby I would rather see two software developers and not invest in web developer, the shop was fine.Loque wrote: ↑14 May 2020If they update the shop: They do not update the DAW or RE

Management calculation: 3*C++ devs + 3*c# devs + 3*php devs + 3*java devs = 12 devs for js+html+css and vice versa.friday wrote: ↑14 May 2020For sure they can work on all fronts, and I really wish that they do.
