SSD for Audio files

It makes a big difference in performance, at least it did for my system. I added a second M2 drive in my system for current projects and all my samples.

For browsing samples and one-hits, and loading sample instruments, it makes a big difference, yes.

Wow yes I have dedicated SSD's for VST's / Kontakt instruments etc and one for just my main Reason folder that contains all my Refills (that I never use :lol: )

I was hoping that having Reason, ReFills and everything else on a SSD would really speed up the work flow (which is great anyway), but in my case, did not see really any difference in performance.
