Anytime I export anything over 48k.... 96k or 192k.... the mixdown has a 1k tone added to it very noticeable. Any thoughts on that?

Does it affect both 16 and 24 bit depths, or just 16 bit? If the latter, try disabling dithering to see if that helps.

If that doesn't work try muting each channel one by one to see if there's a rogue plugin causing the problem.

I was thinking maybe Reason doesn't support 96 or 192? All the plugins I'm using are native and Waves nothing other. I have been doing 24bit maybe the 16 will work.

I tried this out. The difference is real. But it is not a plus. Only a plus on Paper. I can't decide wich File is better, they are different. But you must go down to 44 anyway. So for me waste of Time.

Does this happen on an empty song file? If not, you'll have to isolate which device(s) may be causing this…

You all nailed it!

It was a plug-in that caused the issue. A pulveriser native plugin of all things. of course I muted all tracks and went group by group and the very last track had the issue. So I replaced the pulveriser with a Mclass compressor. Works great now! Thanks so much!!!!

One thing I found out is alot of Reasons devices sound better at either 44.1 or 48 vs high sample rates. Especially Reasons distortion plugins.

I think Props spent a great deal of time probably getting their stuff to sound good at lower rates.

You are probably better staying at lower rates, saves your CPU resources and can pick and choose which devices to over sample when you need it.

Many plugins sound better at higher rates but not all.
