Trialling Maia orange, I have the song ready for export... but this error comes up...
read problem...
I opened a new project, put Maia in it, little sequence and exported a loop, same folder as per the song.
No errors.
I have no idea what coud it be.
Anyone has experienced this error??
EDIT: Swapping all Maia synthesizers for subtractor the song exported fine.
Something to do with Maia/and or Reason trial?
The operation could not be completed beacause of a read problem
So does it need to be 96 kHz or do they just need to match?
I'll test here soon. What version of Reason and what OS are you using?
Ok so I tested here with Reason 11 on macOS and didn't have any issues.
I had Reason Preferences set to 44.1 kHz and exported in 96 kHz both WAV and AIFF without a problem.
Perhaps it is related to previous version of Reason or Windows?

Yes, I used one of the drum sequence patches in Maia. So it used the sequencer, had Delay enabled, LFOs modulating... I also enabled audio input and used the convolution reverb just to be sure.
So it could be specific to a version of Reason or Windows. Or a very particular setup or patch that I haven't tried.
Reason 10.4d - Win 10 64 bit - Audio Motu Ultralite Fw
I tried at 48khz, which was a match before beginning to scrap the song to find the culprit. Win 10 does not like 44.1.

Wow, I've just had a similar problem exporting a file. Apparently I have to match the audio rate in Preferences with the audio rate I'm trying to export the song to to get it to work.
44.1khz to 48, 88, 96 - "read error".
48 to 88 or 96 - no
48 to 48 - yes
88 to 88 - yes
I can work around it, I guess, but it's kind of a PITA.
