R10.4.1 & macOS 10.14.6: Unknown exception error when windows pop up (Save as, delete track, etc)

I've been doing some searching for this problem, which seems to mostly be PC based, but I'm having this problem with Reason on my Mac for a little while now...

It seems to happen most often when trying to delete a device from the rack, which causes a confirmation pop up dialog to appear. When this happens, ANY sort of pop-up dialog no longer works, such as hovering over a mixer knob or fader to see what the current value is. When this happens, it's no big deal to just hit SAVE and exit Reason.

The MOST debilitating problem is when using "SAVE AS...", which causes the unknown exception error and prevents the dialog box from choosing where to save the file, which sticks me in a loop of not being able to doing anything, and I can't save the project AT ALL.

Has anyone else encountered this problem... on a Mac?
