I'm not able to authenticate and load Reason. Obviously my internet connection is good. Is there an outage?

Yeah, it seems like. I have observed several outages lately.

Unbelievable frustrating. Don't know why RS make it so difficult to use the software we paid for.
Cosmopolis, out now: : https://timeslaves.bandcamp.com/album/cosmopolis! Check out the first single, "City Lights:

I've been spamming @anosou on twitter, @reasonstudios on IG, the facebook page also. I suppose they're all sleeping since it's around midnight over there. Fucking bullshit.

It looks widespread too. Belarus, USA, Spain. Guess I'll go get something to eat.

Yeah same here in the UK. I have been meaning for a while now to gradually move my subscriptions over to purchases and then just authorise my computer so I never have to log in. The things I really want come to about £280 (mostly players like Delta, Sequences, Kompulsion). Some of them are on Rent to Own so I could minimise the hurt, and then server outages won't affect me. Frustrating though - I was literally about to jump in and do some work before bed!

I have already authorized my desktop and an ignition key for my laptop. I just don't like when it sticks out, so I often use online authorization on the laptop.

Someone on Twitter is saying it's an internet outage in parts of Sweden. So possibly out of RS's hands?

You would think they would have some redundancy and ways to authenticate from backups in other countries. How lame.

Here’s the outage report;

I’m guessing that’s what it is? Maybe? It was just one twitter user but he seemed to be running some kind of trace to where it authenticates from and it matches up. Might be unrelated though! Who knows. Bed time for me - fingers crossed we’ll be back in business when I wake up in....6 hours. Shoot me haha.

This is force majeure. Next morning it's gonna be in the news and we'll learn that it's all been a Russian cyberattack.

You're right it is fucking bullshit, No support on weekends, outside of Swedish business hours (WHAT THE FUCK) and the whole business shuts down for holidays. That is no way for a software company to operate in the modern era. They need to be free of of all the dead weigh in the company. To fire every non-executive, hand development to third parties and outsource the helpdesk to the Philippines or India, and there would be no such 'oh sorry, we're away because its the weekend' or 'it's meatball Monday so everyone's taking a break'. The sooner the CEO gets the broom out and does some major housekeeping the better. As every day passes, I find myself losing faith in the business I once loved and supported, since its becoming very clear to me that they do not give a fuck. They have never given a fuck about logical workflow reviews, and there is nothing to suggest any fucks will be given into the future, but to make a fast buck.

All the problems could be solved if authentication is required only every 30 days. A lost license would be deactivated automatically, no login every time and no dependency to russian hacked internet...
