First off, I know I started a thread about this a while ago but I can't find it, so sorry about starting a new one.
Since I demoed 11 I've started getting some clicking/popping noises. It's very intermittent as in it only happens sometimes but when it does it can last hours. Please note, this is ONLY REASON, it's not any other host or standalone app. This only started happening after demoing 11. It's now migrated to 10.4. And I stress, it's not an every time experience. Most of the time Reason behaves exactly like it should.
I'm on windows 10 and currently
What I've tried:
-checked power settings
-reinstalled
-tried adjusting the buffer (doesn't change anything)
-different settings in reason
-disabling the internet
-making sure something isn't running in the background
It's pretty weird and secluded but just in case, someone experienced this, I thought I'd post. Been having to use Live Lite all day
Really bummed, clicks and pops

How d f...k did you find that? I tried everything.
It's not an ASIO issue that I can tell because FL studio and Live lite don't have this issue. I'll re-read that thread and see if I stumbles on something.
Mods, maybe delete this thread or lock it? I'll bump the other one.

I'm intrabezez.
So, it's SO MUCH fun!
Seems to work, time will tell but I've jumped back on the Splice S1 wagon just in case. Live is just not my bag anymore and I don't want to learn it, I know S1 pretty well.

BTW, clean install is NOT clean. Some hangovers in there.

I don't have an antivirus, that is a frequent contributor to issues.
What is weirder than anything else is that it was only Reason, and it happened during/after my 11 trial. Before that smooth as silk.
Totally unacceptable so now I'm back to using S1 as a partner in case it happens again. Man, waiting for all this shit to download is flusterbatin'!

Hi all,
I had the clicks and pops issue randomly in Reason, and what finally worked for me is only working in 44.1. Many audio interfaces are capable of more than that (48, 96, etc.) but most of the samples I use are recorded in 44.1. Since I've been working in 44.1 only in Reason, I haven't had any of the clicks and pops issue. Hope this helps.
