Edit Remote Override Mapping - Reverse controller direction?

Morning all,

Does anyone here know how to reverse the action of a knob or slider when its been mapped to an external conrtol surface?

For example - let say I have a 'Sweeper' loaded up in the rack and I've mapped a rotary pot on my controller to the 'Frequency' soft knob on the device. It works fine - when I twist the physical knob clockwise, the device knob follows it clockwise. But I'd like to do the opposite in this case, to get the physical clockwise action to turn the knob *anti*clockwise - mainly because I want to sweep 'the other way'. Anyone know how to hack any files etc. to do this at all?
