Video integration. Any other way around?

Hello! Reasontalkers I'm working on the music for a video but I can't find the way to add video to reason. Is there any way around to score music from reason without using Ableton? . I've the lite version. But it doesn't seem to allow it. Any solutions? Or another way?

If having a video to compose or put sound design onto, this works ok.
It is not a nice design in itself, but it gets the basic job done.
Have used it myself in Reason when I do not want to use Logic or rewire.

Or, assuming you have R11, you could use the Reason Rack in another DAW or video editing package.
The (free) Cakewalk has decent video support.

yes i have R11, but i find that my workflow is much better with reason, because I've been using it for so many years now, i'm just used to it, Key commands short-codes and all of that. But now that reason has the chance to add vst like these for scoring videos, I think this is soooooooo practical. Before, it was impossible and now thanks for your help i found a way around. Thanks again !

and vidplayVST is not compatible with latest major version of macOS,
Anyone got solutions or ideas with using Reason 11 on macOS (catalina) ?

I tried hard to find something online, but I just gave up.
Not sure what is best for now, get new daw (need $ + waste a bit of time learning new workflow) or just use Reason with external video player and synchronize (kind of annoying)

But I don't know if it's compatible with Reason, it needs MIDI timecode and I have no knowledge about it.

Do you guys know if something like that could work :

Get Reaper (video support) / import video on Reaper
Setup/synchronize midi clock Reason with Reaper (not sure how to do easily ?)
Then if I push play/stop on the sequencer, it must play/stop at the same moment right ? (reason/reaper sequencers)

Hi, this is specifically built to work with Reason, I have other products and are good, but this have not tried it... but it looks promising, and works in Windows and Mac OS Catalina

VidPlayVST is now code signed and notarized for use with macOS Catalina

If you are just scoring the VidPlayVST mentioned above has worked great for me on PC.
