Greetings Earthlings
Has anyone ever made a restauration of old tapes in reason?
Or even made a template reason-file or combinator-patch?
My engineering skills are too poor to do this from scratch...

I think Audio Editors, not DAWs are better suited to restore old audio tapes. I do that for my clients in Adobe Audition CC.

Best option for that is imho Izotope RX.

I have RX because it came with a bundle but I haven't used it yet, except for cleaning up a sample. If you have the copyright to the stuff on the tape you could send me a track or two and I'd be happy to test all of RX' features for you and give you the result :)
:reason: Most recent track: resentment (synthwave) || Others: on my YouTube channel •ᴗ•

That seems a good offer. I'd do it for a price, not free!!!

Use the standard tools & your ears, EQ can do a lot, even adding a little little reverb to mask eventual pumping.
