Reason 10 transport stops when clicking anywhere outside of reason

Has anyone seen this behavior before and if so what is the solution? Very frustrating especially when trying to make adjustments in the UAD software console when the transport is running. As soon as I click in the UAD console the reason transport stops.

Bingo! Strange because I've always had this box checked. I re-checked and all works as expected.

Such a useless feature in 2019. I think it should be removed. Does anyone have a use case for this?

I think it's still the case that in Windows, running Reason on an onboard soundchip (Realtek or whatever) will hog the audio driver, to the extent that you can't listen to YouTube or Spotify or anything else unless you close Reason, or allow it to release the audio driver when not in the foreground.

Not sure how many people rely on this? Although I can see how it's useful in that situation.
