Noob Problems with reason

Hi there, first post on the forum, I come with problems!

I've just build a new set-up based around and i7, Nektar T6 and a focusrite 18i20 sound card. I've also got an Arturia Drumbrute and Deepmind 12D.

This is how I've Reason configured:

Reason - external midi instrument - deepmind12 - 2 audio in from DM12 and an arpeggiator playing a simple pattern

Reason - external midi instrument - Drumbrute - 6 audio in from drumbrute.

Reason - sending external midi clock to drumbrute so it starts and stops

Everything works fine until I wish to add an internal instrument. Anything I add just repeats a note, and I know it's not the arpeggiator from the deepmind because the patterns differ.

Re connect every midi device with find instead of auto detect.
