Hello all,

I am experimenting with Thor's Combfilter. Therefore I re-red the article on Comb's by Gordon Reid (Thor demystified).
Somehow I couldn't get the same sonical results with the examples showed.
Because the examples are made in R4 (long time ago), I tried them on an old computer where I had R4 installed. To my surprise, the same patches then sounded excactly the same as in Gordon's article.
It's just as if the lowest 10-15% of the combfilter isn't working in Thor's R10.
Somebody has a clue?
I have a few wavefiles to compare (see link).

Might have been updated with (at the time) new code or something. If it's not a bug then maybe a different setting achieves the same result aka less or more percentage.

Just a speculation...any mixer settings are different or the patches? Do they both run on the same system?

Hi
Thanks for your suggestions.
I didn't run them on the same system, but the song- and patchsettings were the same.
I've send Props a message, so I'll wait what they say about it.
Maybe it has something to do with a re-write in the code, indeed.

Regards Michel
