Favouring Apple users

So here's an odd thing. If you have an iPhone/iPad you can download Reason Compact for free and get a free licence for Reason Lite and then upgrade it to Full Reason for way less than buying Reason 10.

So Apple users can get Reason cheaper than anyone else...

Well, just factor in the price of an iPhone / iPad and a Mac computer. That should even the score... ;)

It will have been much easier to reuse code from Reason in Reason Compact for iOS than if they had written Compact for Android. Both macOS and iOS use the Cocoa API, which means some of the code will have been lifted directly from the Reason source code. It would require much more rewriting to get it to work on Android as the APIs are completely different.
