Is this a bug or am I just daft?

Load any instrument
Hit control T for an audio track
Audio track is in between the instrument and the instrument track on the rack

I can't remember running into this before. I mean you can just move the audio track but it doesn't feel right.

Hmmm...I'm not getting this behavior.
macOS Reason 10.4

I even tried creating an instrument and then highlighting the mix channel for the instrument before creating an audio track. It still never places the audio track between the instrument and its mix channel on my end...

If I deselect Auto-group Devices and Tracks, I can create an audio track between an instrument and its mix channel if I first highlight the mix channel before creating the audio track...meaning the audio track is added next in line and ignores the grouping. But I still can't get it to land there if I simply create an instrument and then create an audio channel without moving the device focus around.

Well, I'm doze. I'll look into this "Auto-group Devices and Tracks" thing.

Try adding it from the mixer, that seems to have odd behavior here.

The auto group thing doesn't change anything. Now I've got audio tracks showing up in the master section. (where the send effects are)

Restarted it and now it's working with the auto group thingy. I'm not a good tester of these things........
