Reason 10.4 / Reason 10.4 Intro / Reason 10.4 Lite Release Notes

Added Monotone Bass Synthesizer, a new bass synth device that's cross-compatible with Reason Compact
Added Rytmik Drum Machine, a new drum device that's cross-compatible with Reason Compact
Made a change on Windows to allow certain VST plugins incompatible with Reason 10.3 compatible again
Made a change on Windows to allow certain ASIO drivers incompatible with Reason 10.3 compatible again
Fixed a bug where the sustain pedal would no longer work with RPG-8
Fixed a bug where panning a signal completely right with a VST effect could cause the signal to cut out
Fixed a bug on Windows where CV inputs on the Combinator would not behave as expected

I was actually thinking of updating from 9.5.4 but now that 10.4 is already out, I'll wait for 11.

Reason Compact just became a complete idea notepad. The only thing that I think it is missing really bad is a pattern sequencer and basic automation options. However this update is a huge step forward

Let the Reason Compact users have their devices. Don't expect a sonic revolution on mobile..

But hey, I'm so happy about the update, I just asked them recently if there is going to be one soon! Such good news for all users with old audio interfaces that suddenly stopped working.

They're not meant to be flagship devices. They're there to provide sound compatibility with iOS app (or for quick sketching of stuff in desktop Reason).

I saw this over on kvr (i was staying away from here for a bit in shame) and didn't believe it. Fired up Reason and there's 10.4 ready to DL

I don't have an ios device so this update helps cure that itch. Big thanks to the Props. Off to play...

Still no fix for VST avenger automation, I'd rather have existing things working properly

Rytmik is as basic as they come, but Monotone is a pretty sweet bass synth. Hard to complain for “free” though!
