...as in, do you authorize your computer, use the Ignition Key or just sign in online?

Personally I have my PC authorized but I'm curious as to how others work.

I forgot about Balance. Almost got one coz it looked so feckin cool but I was happy with the audio interface I had at the time and decided against.

I used authorized, but after all the discussion of losing licenses after a crash i switched to online only. Just wish it wouldn't annoy me with the login dialog.

In general, can you move the authorization from one machine to another as many times as you want? For example keep it on your desktop most of the time, but everytime you need it on your notebook, like once a week, authorize the notebook instead?

All 3 at the moment, but I plan on reformatting my hard drive soon, so I'll have to deactivate it. Just plan on using the ignition key for home and online activation when I'm not. That's the new plan Stan.

Seems like I’m perpetually testing some new RE so it’s constant online verification for me.

Online. I have Reason loaded on four PCs (two laptops and two workstations), plus I have subscriptions, so that makes it easier to move around.

This, exactly. Although I don't mind the dialog box, that's how I know when to smash that enter key...

- My laptop authorized, always good to go, on-the-go
- Online authentication for work computers (and of course for trialing and beta testing from my laptop)
- Ignition Key in case internet is down on those other computers (or Propellerhead servers), but I also always have my laptop with me...

computer is authorized and have ignition key too

Codemetershandles that for me. I input code to de-auth and move if I need to.
If I do decide to get a laptop it will most likely be a MacBook pro or surface.

Ignition key, or login....never writing another license ever again. EVER. Can't lose it if I don't use it.

I have to sign in, cos im trialing stuff and was rent to go for a bit, but from memory I dont need to sign in so I must have authorized?

Computer authorisation here, I've got my IK as a back-up should I need it but haven't used it in a while.

Strictly online for me. If I get an Ignition Key and authorize it can I still use online logins, or is it one or the other?

You can use them all in parallel!
I have the ignition key in my Mac mini, I have authorized my Macbook Pro, and I use online login for everything else.
You just have to take care to close Reason on one computer before you open it on the next, since you're only allowed to run one instance at a time per license.

Authorised it, but seeing it's just 1 click or enter to login i might swap to just login.

I login because of subscription. A neat little TinyTask-macro takes care of opening and logging in to Reason!
