This sounds good, they are hiring more C++ developers. Sequencer updates maybe, and things we have not yet asked for, lol ?

It says "Your contribution to Reason will be recognized by our passionate users which often give direct and valuable feedback to us."
See, they want us to tell them what we need, just be productive (i.e. nice), specific, and we'll get more features that we request (I hope).

Sounds interesting. I would apply for it if I was looking for a job in Sweden...

From the ad:
"Our flagship music production studio Reason has sparked countless hits and is used by millions of people over the world. But, now we want to reimagine the music industry – and we need your help!"

What are they planning?!

This is always up. They might have changed some of the wording, but the "C++ hiring ad" is pretty much omnipresent in some form or another.

Notice how it says "industry" and not "software industry".

I still think the concept of Allihoopa was good.. look at splice, blend io and so on they are viable products...

it would be nice if PH worked with splice to get reason support...

No offence but strange people ask these kinds of questions 'cause unless the person replying works for Propellerhead, the short answer is, no-one knows and if they start surmising then it's all just guessing and leads to people getting their hopes up for things that may or may not happen or just people go off on tangents with wild assumptions.

It was rhetorical. Obviously no one but Propellerhead knows.

Sounds exciting! I knew I should've learned coding...maybe it's not too late to learn still, but I hope they get some great programmers.

This is why I always upgrade Reason. More PH Money. More C++ joy.

I think "we want to reimagine the music industry " is just one of those vague marketing phrases that doesn't really mean anything. Don't read too much into it. They are just trying to make working at the company sound more exciting.

Sounds like that to me too, never liked that kind of phrases if they're not truly meant, and to mean something like that truly is a very daring affirmation. Let's see, but I wished modern society would stop exaggerating messages so easily and I wished I could write C++ as well :D

I've worked in tech for years and I don't think I've ever seen a job description that didn't have some variation on "we want to reimagine x." 😀

If you do, just make sure you backup your hard drive in case it fails or you rebuild. :D
