Cannot purchase reason.

Hi guys. New to the forum, used reason around 8 years ago at uni and have been off playing with other daws since. Recently downloaded the demo from the props site and really enjoyed it. When it came to purchasing however I've had some difficulty. I am an expatriate in Indonesia and the account I use comes with a visa card but doesn't facilitate online purchases. Nor PayPal. So I attempted to purchase through both my GFS credit card and PayPal with both being declined. Is it something to do with the name registered on the propellerhead account. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My bank wasn’t letting me purchase Reason from the official website either

I had to do a license transfer from a random eBay person

The props wouldn’t let me send in a check :/ I wish there was a way of going around the system. Maybe ask your bank if they will allow one purchase from Sweden? My bank said they won’t allow purchase from Sweden due to fraudulent hacker reasons etc. but if I tell them to allow it on a specific day, then they let it happen

Boxed copy with stickers was nice, but I had to wait 6 or 7 days for it to arrive from Sweetwater. Horrible.

Get the digital version off Sweetwater or Propellerhead site.
upgrades should be 44$ a month.

Full version of Reason 8 cost me like 143$ a month 4+ years ago for 3 months.

How do you propose he pay for it? If you read the first post, that's the problem. He can't use his credit card on a Swedish website.

So everyone is trying to figure out a way he can purchase it locally. An international Internet purchase isn't going to help at all.

Had the same problem in the past. You should contact support and they will sort it out.

Indonesia will often block international purchases, including sales originating from the US. It's usually related to payment, which is the crux of the OP's issue trying to purchase from Sweden.

No, though hopefully if the OP reaches out to Props, they can make it happen somehow. Maybe it's just a weird glitch when purchasing outside of the EU? Beats me.
