Hi!

I made these visuals and would like to see if any of you can make some audio for it.

Please comment if you may be interested in something like this involving other video creators!

Sorry there are two short recording stutters around 25 seconds.

There will be some sort of pop up window for the download, please click 'continue without downloading ad blocker' or whatever they try to ask you. I hope it works, I will be away from base for a few days.

Or if you have a youtube downloader this should be much easier to rip from youtube. https://youtu.be/QX-d42qCc4g

Thanks everyone! : D

Hallo Jagwah,

you could look around on my blog, try the audio samples or visit my soundcloud account, if you find something you need:

https://blog.bossasworld.de or https://soundcloud.com/bossasound

best wishes falk

Thanks for that, it's not what I was looking for though.

Might try this again down the track, there is potential for a lot of sharing to happen between different video and audio people but only if I can get people interested.

I'm still trying to find a free 64 bit video player VST for Reason, so I can try writing music to video

Well seeing as it's so incredibly difficult to implement to the point we would actually need enough energy to move planets just to get a video track inside Reason within the next 5000 years, there are a few alternatives out there.

I haven't seen any VSTs capable of basic video editing features, they are only synchronisation tools for scoring.

People keep raving on about Da Vinci Resolve, it's freeware and I'm sure it's capable of 64bit. I'm using some of their hardware (Blackmagic Design) and it really is top notch stuff. Took a quick look and it appears to be a fully fledged video editor, probably worth checking out: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/produc ... nciresolve

Windows 7 has Movie Maker built in, W10 doesn't. Macs probably have something too for all that extra money. There must be others out there.

I've been using Sony Vegas for many years, coming from Reason I found the transition to the sequencer / timeline and GUI layout quite smooth. You can set the sequencer to BPM and different time signatures. Resolve probably has this too.

You really should get on it, video is massive in this day and age and we have the convenience of Youtube for it.

I have Vegas but was looking for a direct way to just write music to video straight from within Reason.

I guess I'll have to fork over the money for "VidPlayVST" (only 18 USD) which works great, but the demo only let me do 30 seconds at a time.

I wish for almost nothing more, and if after all this time it is finally implemented only to allow scoring and no basic video editing features.. well i think I would actually lose my mind.

Surely you've heard of Resync, similar to your VST but for Reason it's been mentioned in every video thread I can remember. http://retouchcontrol.com/resync/

Doing some googling boy there's been a lot of requests for video features in Reason over the years. It's so exhausting trying to get something like this implemented when even audio features seem to trickle down so slowly, it's disheartening :puf_unhappy:

Andrew Huang posted a few days a go a video where he incorporates a tool that translates color information in a video into MIDI notes, based on a user defined grid placed upon the video you want to generate sounds from. A really cool idea and maybe perfect for your project?

:reason: Most recent track: resentment (synthwave) || Others: on my YouTube channel •ᴗ•

Thanks dude but no I make the visuals and can make the audio, just wanted to throw it out to others to see their twist on it and gauge interest.

It's a while since I did any video stuff but I always used to use Cakewalk/Sonar and Cakewalk is now a free download and can be rewired to Reason so that would be my first port of call.

Of course, the problem with rewire now is that you can't use VSTs in Reason. Grrr.

Thanks so much for mentioning this, I am desperate for something better than the Reason / Sony Vegas clunky system I am trying to use at the moment. I will check this out for sure, thanks!
