I'm still trying to find a free 64 bit video player VST for Reason, so I can try writing music to video
Well seeing as it's so incredibly difficult to implement to the point we would actually need enough energy to move planets just to get a video track inside Reason within the next 5000 years, there are a few alternatives out there.
I haven't seen any VSTs capable of basic video editing features, they are only synchronisation tools for scoring.
People keep raving on about Da Vinci Resolve, it's freeware and I'm sure it's capable of 64bit. I'm using some of their hardware (Blackmagic Design) and it really is top notch stuff. Took a quick look and it appears to be a fully fledged video editor, probably worth checking out:

Windows 7 has Movie Maker built in, W10 doesn't. Macs probably have something too for all that extra money. There must be others out there.
I've been using Sony Vegas for many years, coming from Reason I found the transition to the sequencer / timeline and GUI layout quite smooth. You can set the sequencer to BPM and different time signatures. Resolve probably has this too.
You really should get on it, video is massive in this day and age and we have the convenience of Youtube for it.
