Question: How to wire TAL Vocoder

I'm very confused in how to wire TAL Vocoder to a synth to actually produce sound, and cannot get BV512 in Reason. I am completely inexperienced in back wiring as I'm pretty used to drag and dropping FX. Can anyone help on wiring the vocoder or any good source how to wire the back of the rack at all?

There's no wiring involved with TAL Vocoder, it's super easy to use:
- Record or import a voice recording on an audio track.
- Open the Insert FX section of that track, and drop a TAL Vocoder in it:
- Right-click on that TAL Vocoder and select "Create Track for TAL-Vocoder".
- On the newly created track, add or play notes/chords at the same time that the audio plays:
And that's it! You can then tweak the vocoder's settings to change the tone of the voice.
The BV-512 is a little more involved as it requires a separate synth, I'd advise watching a tutorial on that subject, like this one for instance (under a minute):

This is exactly why MIDI cables (going from the track / sequencer) to the instrument should be visible and not implied / virtual. I hate such arbitrary choices - either you go all-in with hardware studio metaphor or not at all.
