Please Help : Detuned Brass Stabs.

I'm working on a cover of a rather classic Amiga tune created by the late, great Richard Joseph. Speedball 2.

I've got most of the sounds nailed, but those off key trumpet stabs are killing me! I know the Art of Noise crew were fond of doing things like this back in the 90's as well.

The part I'm really struggling with is to get the tonality correct, but my fragile little brain can't seem to pick the notes apart due to the detuned nature of these sounds. They are almost percussive, but there's tone there too. I've managed to track down the samples and add them to the song file, but I'd rather re-create them. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm trying to do this with the Orkester sound bank (probably should mentioned that).
