Hey guys,

I really appreciate any help I can get on this. I'm using Reason 9.5 and I'm trying to create a repeating 80s synth bass line like the one here in Close To You by Neon Trees.

Can anyone give me some direction on how this can be achieved in Reason? Looking around the web and I haven't found anything that's getting me closer.

Thanks,

Grant

Use an arpeggiator or a pattern sequencer. For this song it’s set to 1/8 notes.

Wow, thanks aeox! That's pretty spot on. There's a lot on Thor that I don't understand but I'm working my way through it. Didn't know you could repeat notes just using Thor itself.

There are many different ways to achieve similar results  That method seemed like the most simple path to take.
