Speaker tool volume too loud?

When using the speaker tool it's always way too loud. Is there a way to fix this?

Bumping this old question. Is there a way to control or route the preview volumes? Such as the speaker tool in slice edit mode through the control room out

I messaged them years ago and didn't hear back about the slice edit mode speaker tool as it's about as loud as it can possibly be and not very cool to work with, I guess it's some kind oversight or they don't want to add another volume control to the GUI or some other issue altogether, either way, I simply can not use it and it seems others do not get along with it either.

Thanks for the answer. I agree, it's often unusable. Wish it could be routed to master/control room as an option in settings, then they wouldn't need to add a dedicated control.
