Folder Scanning Questions

I have reason 9.5xx. I have a sample folder with 3000 samples in it. When I click on it to look for a sample it takes atleast 1 minute to "scan".. Maybe longer. I have little tricks to avoid doing it multiple times in one session but still .. It's really annoying. In Ableton it loads the folder instantly.

So.. Did this get improved in Reason 10??
Got any tips?

Same issue. Is there a workaround for this. It's insanely annoying when searching for samples in the middle of a session flow.
