Hi All!
Just curious. I'm not asking to disclose anything you're not supposed to but who's on the beta then?
I'm still waiting.
Thanks!

I didn't sign up, because the new features don't excite me much. But of course I'm happy they've been listening to the many people who really want these features.

Believe me, things like multi-clip editing, returning playhead, adaptive snap grid or even jump to rack from sequencer ARE game changers, at least for me. All of them are quality of life features, that simply facilitate more streamlined & faster workflow, especially when you're coming from DAW(s) that had those already.Exowildebeest wrote: ↑31 Aug 2018I didn't sign up, because the new features don't excite me much. Yes... and without stepping over the NDA line, it's very, very good.

Even though this wasn’t directed at me, I’ll respondCreativemind wrote: ↑05 Sep 2018I'm in. Lol!Exowildebeest wrote: ↑31 Aug 2018I didn't sign up, because the new features don't excite me much. But of course I'm happy they've been listening to the many people who really want these features.
So what features are you waiting for?
I’m only really excited about the ghost note feature
I never really adjust the levels of the main mixer (something that will probably change for me as I try to get better at mastering and gain staging etc)
But my mAin thing with Reason is to update the combinator with matrix slots galore and some advanced routing random/velocity as a source
Right click routing as well as a learn function
Most importantly, combinator input text translating to the sequencer
Other than that, I hope to see Europa get it’s final touches. Samples in all three engines, a more in depth wavetable editor (there’s a space that it could sit inside of where the envelope slots are all the way to the left)
Maybe the ability to change the color scheme of Europa? I’d like a blue Europa
Mayor of plucktown
I checked my email today and Yes I now have the beta logging version, however I have to run it in demo mode meaning I can't open any saved test documents which isn't ideal. I don't have Reason 10 so that's probably why, but I would have thought I could save and open test documents. Can anyone confirm that's normal?
Edit: I cannot find the webpage with the already submitted bugs. Is there one?

Mine opens fine and I'm on 10 so I'd say it's because you're not on 10.

Does anyone know where the documentation is for the new features on 10.2 then? If you go through the help or through the link given it just takes you to 10.1 documentation etc.

Obviously can't talk about it but I can tell you there's one feature in there in particular that's gonna save me SO much time. Can't wait, firstly, for the non-logging version. And *then* the upcoming performance update. Inching closer to perfection
That got me intrigued - which "dot" on the Please Read Me / What To Test is this?chimp_spanner wrote: ↑06 Sep 2018Obviously can't talk about it but I can tell you there's one feature in there in particular that's gonna save me SO much time.
Unless you meant "SO much time" across the (expected) remaining duration of your life, because it's a 0,5s here, 3s there...

Well I don't remember seeing it in the publicly released notes so I'll not mention it. But yes it's definitely one of those things that will shave valuable seconds off on a regular basis. Seconds make minutes make hours make days!antic604 wrote: ↑06 Sep 2018That got me intrigued - which "dot" on the Please Read Me / What To Test is this?chimp_spanner wrote: ↑06 Sep 2018Obviously can't talk about it but I can tell you there's one feature in there in particular that's gonna save me SO much time.

Intriguing! For those of us not on the beta, can you at least give a cryptic hint so that we can figure out which feature it is once 10.2 comes out? Without actually revealing anything, of course...
