wav to rex2 and autoadapt if change bpm

Hi, I know how to convert wav to rex2 to "play" with this into dr. octorex, but when I do it, if I change the bpm, the rex don't autoadapt to new bpm, why?
When I load a preset of rex2 files, it works fine.
