I have just picked up an Emu Command Station that I want to use as my main sequencer, I have figured out to configure external midi and can have the Command Station play its patterns to Reason, even got midi clock working so the CS controls start stop and timing, perfect, but....how do I then go about recording the Reason instruments output to an audio file? anyone else using Reason in a similar way?

I dont think this is possible, but i might be wrong...i would create and audio track, record anything i want and bounce it to disc (pop menu on the audio track).

You'd have to route the output of Reason to a separate recorder and record the audio manually. Bouncing an audio file in Reason only works from it's owns sequencer to which the external midi section is completely separate from.
