Have you read the printed manual of Reason?
I did read Reason 2.0 manual (all of it) back then and this is how I learned Reason fastly. And of course it was a lot more easier back then, as Reason was still a kid. Anyways, It would freakin rock if every stock device would have a link to it's online manual + video etc, maybe RE-developers could have a possibility for it as well, either on the backside or somewhere anyway. I'd integrate short-key guide into Reason too.

If I remember right, when I bought Reason 2.5 secondhand back in 2003, the seller included a printed and bound copy of the manual, and I spent some time with that. I picked up Power Tools For Reason 2.5 sometime around then too, and there were lots of interesting concepts in there to dig into. Since then I've just occasionally glanced at the PDFs and other online guides for specific info, and otherwise mostly winged it.

I put yes...but I’m not sure if the 1.0.1 and the Reason 2.5 manuals count. I have a nice binder with all the pages of 2.5’s manual printed on heavy paper stock. However, I still have the box-set of 2.5 and it didn’t actually COME with a printed manual!

Would love shortcuts or even tool-tips that could be enabled!

LOL, same. But 2.0 - and I still use it:jimmyklane wrote: ↑05 Jun 2018I have a nice binder with all the pages of 2.5’s manual printed on heavy paper stock.
You can't - you have to make your own, and at 1300-plus pages, it's a big undertaking these days... I last printed out the manual for V9, I think. When it got to 9.5, I just started printing excerpts. It's too bad, because it is beautifully laid out with color illustrations and everything...
I remember when the printed manual was part of the boxed version of the software... Very nice. Just not practical theses days, with new versions coming out every six months or so...

i'm one of those wierdo's who actually enjoys reading manuals. i get a lot out of reading stuff. it seesm to sink in better than videos. i've read the pdf of a couple of versions of reason.
i'd actually like it if there were a lot more step by step non-video tutorials on reason related stuff. i get much more out of them than bootube videos, even with pausing etc.

I printed to paper the Parsec manual.

Yeah, nothing beats a proper bathroom lecture.
